Mischievous Clothing
Mischievous Clothing is a retail brand that specialises in inclusive fashion. They requested a mobile app design (UX+UI) as a proof-of-concept to pitch to potential investors and to serve as a basis for future development. The brief required an e-commerce app with a focus on young LGBTQ+ customers.
A core tenet of the LGTBQ+ movement is freedom - freedom to date, freedom of nonconformity, and freedom from discrimination. keeping this in mind, the storefront does not conform to a grid, instead allowing free scrolling in any direction with items freely showing up as clickable bubbles. This concept allows for a gamification of the storefront, with test audiences continually scrolling for a chance at something that really pops out at them.
